about
Home.
It changes in time. It can grow away from you, and you can just as easily grow away from it.
But here we are.. The most impressive beasts in our known local universe...
With our great capacity for war, our stridency towards personal well being, Our unnaturally strong structured instinct for community and banding together, our ability to bestow kindness and gratitude, our unearthly resilience, and our quite earthly frailty... We are truly "limitless glass"...
With all of these capacities in tow, we can learn to engineer a new home of our own. In macro- outside of ourselves amongst a community of peers and confidants, in micro- deep inside the untrespassed halls of our minds.
You are free to build it wherever you like, with select chosen components, or with what is easily made available to you. There are setbacks and streamlines to both. It's all about mindfulness... If there's a leak, maybe you didn't seal it properly. If the walls don't line up, maybe you didn't measure properly.. Why would you call a "home" that doesn't suit you "Home"?
I think we're all searching for a more cozy home... Maybe not..
I think i am. Or at least i'm considering additions...
If you are on a similar path, i wish you luck and an uncanny amount of mindfulness and patience as you continue to purse Engineering your Home to your desired specs.
We can do it.
After all, we are impressive beasts...
