So this is a little cheeky.. i think of that line from Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" pretty often, ha, suppose that was somewhat of the inspiration for this title.. and for the progression i use.. Im able to slip in all the interval chords in this tune.. major 1st, minor 2nd, minor 3rd, major 4th, major 5th, minor 6th, dim 7.
The goal was to make something soft n contemplative. When its soft enough, it doesn't feel forced. not to me...
I suppose there's something there.. To ebb slowly into the water, seeing the many reflections of light off the edges of your ripples, noticing the gentle undertow pulling at your legs, the cool n warm sensations on your skin..
All pleasing stimuli.
Give yourself a minute to zone out with me on this one.
Or don't.
The water goes as deep as you are willing...
